FORD’S GARAGE REVS UP FOR NEW RESTAURANT IN GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA
Service station-inspired eatery will serve juicy burgers and beers with hearty helpings of nostalgia
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (Dec. 1, 2022) – Ford’s Garage, the neighborhood burger and beer joint inspired by the heritage of the Ford Motor Company and designed like a classic service station, will open its newest location on Wednesday, November 30 at 3560 SW 32nd Court in Gainesville’s Butler Town Center. Patrons can fuel up on a satisfying menu that includes the restaurant’s Burgers of Fame, a localized selection of unique burgers named after influential individuals and organizations in the community.
Ford’s Garage creates the sense of stepping into a 1920s service station; diners see a vast array of Ford memorabilia, including vintage vehicles, fixtures, gas pumps, and a Model T or Model A car suspended above the center bar. Topping off the theme are details like servers dressed as mechanics, blue shop towels used as napkins, and bathroom sinks made from tires and fuel pump nozzles.

At Ford’s Garage, burgers are the prime attraction. The meaty selections are crafted with Black Angus beef and continue the automotive theme with names like Model “A” and the High Octane Burger. Vegetarians can also fill up on flavor with the Green and Clean veggie burger. Burgers come with all-natural aged cheeses, fresh toppings, and sauces on artisan buns branded with Ford’s Garage logo. The restaurant also specializes in popular American comfort food options, like homemade meatloaf, chicken wings and tenders, onion rings, and macaroni & cheese. Lighter fare, such as fresh salads, grilled chicken, and seafood options, are also available.
Gainesville residents and University of Florida (UF) students and alums will recognize several names behind the new location’s Burgers of Fame menu, including Police Chief Tony Jones (the American Standard); Gatorade inventor Robert Cade (the Estate Burger); and UF Head Football Coach Billy Napier (the Black-and-Bleu).
The Gainesville location joins 20 Ford’s Garage restaurants across Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Texas, and will feature the brand’s largest patio to date at 4,000 square feet. The restaurant has two bars including one on the covered exterior patio and will serve wine, cocktails, and over 100 types of beer, including more than 30 drafts on tap, with an emphasis on local breweries.
The new Ford’s Garage will be open for dine-in and to-go Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m., 11 a.m.-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. on Sunday. The 7,569-square-foot restaurant will serve Sunday brunch from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m., followed by dinner from 3 p.m.-10 p.m.
