Rock The Runway Fashion Show Raised Over $40K for Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida, Inc.

Gainesville, FL – November 13, 2023 – Butler Enterprises hosted Rock the Runway 2023, an annual fashion show benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida, Inc. The event was held on November 9th at Butler Town Center at Stengel Field and raised over $40,000 dollars. All proceeds went to the local Ronald McDonald House in Gainesville, FL.

This annual fundraiser is a night of fun, fashion, and philanthropy showcasing the latest trending styles from the shops of Butler. The evening was made complete by volunteer services provided Chase Bank employees. Volunteers provided way finder and guest services to Rock the Runway attendees.

The evening was filled with community icons. More than 20 models of all ages from the community participated in this year’s Rock the Runway. Community models for this fundraising event included Oak Hall School staff, VP and General Manager of WCJB TV 20, Alan Chatman, President & CEO of the Greater Gainesville Chamber, Eric Godet, Dr. Paul Broadie II, President of Santa Fe College, and P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School Director and Superintendent Dr. Brian Marchman.

Four of the models were awarded Rocked the Runway, People’s Choice, Show Stopper, and Paparazzi Favorite trophies. Over $13,000 was raised from ticket sales and sponsorships and model voting raised over $24,000. All funds raised for Rock the Runway 2023 totaled over $40,000. All proceeds will go directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida.

The night’s open bar was made possible by Total Wine & More, guests and sponsors enjoyed wine, champagne, and craft beer donated by First Magnitude. Community models showcased apparel from 12 Butler merchants including 5.11 Tactical, Southern Tide, Alumni Hall, REI and Narcissus. From glamourous to outdoorsy, from eveningwear to gameday gear, Rock the Runway appealed to all audience members.

Small plates were donated by Butler Shopping District. Guests enjoyed select sushi from Rock N Roll Sushi, signature beef brisket and crispy cream bread pudding from 4 Rivers Smokehouse, ¼ black angus with American cheese on brioche bun from Ford’s Garage, mouthwatering dessert from Nothing Bundt Cakes, and various samples of cold pressed juices from Clean Juice.
